![]() This game is still awesome regardless but fixing this would make it just a little bit better for me and others who would like to customize their experience a little more. Either let us disable the controller in game or let us remap the buttons. It's a minor problem but seems like it should be a relatively simple fix. For example pressing UP can act as my map hotkey but also makes me face upwards in the game. If the game allows keyboard and controller input at the same time and if the game doesn't use the gamepad by itself, you can simply assign WASD to the DPad. I can still partially do this with Game Profiler but the hotkeys work on top of the native support instead of replacing it. Xpadder cannot simply switch functions of your gamepad, this program is only made to create keyboard and mouse input based on your controller input. Try it on your PC to play games which dont have native controller support with your favorite joysticks and/or use it for general applications to improve. If we could disable to native controller support then this would be possible using programs like Joy to Key, Xpadder, or Pinnacle Game Profiler. Even better I'd like to be able to do that but use the (unused) LB and RB as modifiers for the d-pad giving me 12 extra buttons without sacrificing anything else. Supported multiple hardware platforms: Windows PC, Notebook Computer, Laptop Android Smartphone: connect via an USB OTG cable Raspberry Pi IOS. I would rather use the analog stick to move around and then use the d-pad to give me four extra hotkeys for my inventory, map, etc. Xpadder simulates the keyboard and mouse using your gamepad. I don't seem to be able to rebind keys and there is a lot of wasted potential with the default setup.įor example: For my purposes there is no reason to have both the analog stick and the d-pad set to "walk". The left analog stick also looks upwards when the stick is pointed to the right and when. ![]() Include clicking down on your left and right analog sticks and the back/start buttons. When you get to Buttons tab, make sure you press every button on controller. Click down each tab at the side and tick the ‘enabled’ boxes and follow what the pop-ups say. ![]() I use an Xbox 360 controller and while it works well with the default settings, it isn't perfect. Here is where you need to add all your buttons, triggers and analog sticks. I know that this is an old post but I would also like to request this feature. ![]()
